In the United States we have a huge problem with the illegal immigrants. One of the reasons is that they are taking all the hard working American jobs. Unemployment is on the rise here and the illegal immigrants are filling the jobs that we as Americans could be taking and then the unemployment would go down. The second thing is that they don’t pay taxes which is also one of the reasons they don’t become a legal citizen because than they will be forced to pay taxes and don’t get the benefits of being an illegal. It’s not that difficult to become legal. The process of becoming a United States citizen with full citizenship rights is called naturalization. If the illegal’s have a visa than they could turn that into a permanent resident card which would allow them to become legal here, The only catch is that you cannot be overseas for more than 6 months. The BCIS can either denied or accept people and citizens. Another way people can become citizens if one were to marry someone who is a legal citizen of the United States and the person who the non alien is marrying is illegal than he or she will now become a legal resident of the United States. Another way is that you could be issued a green card through your work. In the United States should also make them learn how to read and right and also speak English. We should not have to press one for English and two for Spanish. We are in the United States. In the Spanish speaking countries I don’t think that if u want English you could just press two, they don’t offer that option there. Some of the illegals make more than some of the citizen here witch I think is messed up because if they cannot even become a citizen they should not get any advantages and make less money. I like how Obama make the new healthcare plan so that the illegals don’t get free healthcare anymore.
